Dashboard Overview
After logging in, School Admins see an organization-wide dashboard with:

User Management
Adding a New User

Navigate to User Management
Click on User Management in the sidebar menu.

Click "Create New User"
Click the + Create New User button at the top right.

Fill in User Details
Full Name: User's complete name
Email: Unique email address (used for login)
Password: Minimum 8 characters
Role: Select School Admin, Teacher, or Student
Phone Number: Optional contact number

Assign Classes (for Students/Teachers)
If creating a student or teacher, select the classes they belong to or teach.

Assign Subjects (for Teachers)
For teachers, select the subjects they will teach/manage.
Tip: You can also bulk import users using CSV files from the User Management page.

Creating a Subject

Go to Subject Management
Click Subject Management in the sidebar.

Click + Add Subject button.

Enter Subject Information
Subject Name: e.g., Mathematics, Physics
Subject Code: Unique identifier (e.g., MTH101)
Description: Optional description
Status: Active/Inactive
Class Management
Classes group students together for exam assignment and performance tracking.
Creating a Class

Select Class Management from the sidebar.

Create New Class
Click the + Create Class button.

Fill Class Details
Class Name: e.g., Grade 10A, Form 4B
Description: Optional details about the class
Academic Year: Optional year/session

Assign Students
Add students to the class from the class detail page.
Subscription & Billing
ExamReel operates on a subscription model with different plans offering various features and limits.
Show Results After Submission: Allow immediate result viewing
Allow Review: Let students review answers before submit

Assign Subjects
Select one or more subjects for the exam.

Assign Classes
Select which classes can access this exam.

Select Questions
Click Select Questions on the exam detail page. Browse and select questions from your question bank.

Allocate Marks (Optional)
Adjust marks for individual questions if needed.

Activate Exam
Click Activate Exam to publish it to students.
Grading & Results
Auto-Grading
MCQ and MAQ questions are automatically graded when students submit exams.
Manual Grading (Short Answer & Essay)

Navigate to Manual Marking
Click Manual Marking in the sidebar.

Select Exam
Choose an exam that has Short Answer or Essay questions.

Review Student Answers
Read each student's answer and assign marks based on correctness.

Save Marks
Enter the marks awarded and click Save.

Go to Results to view:
List of all exams with submission statistics

Pass/fail breakdown
Average scores and class performance

Taking Exams
Starting an Exam

View Available Exams
Go to My Exams or click on an exam from your dashboard.

Read Exam Instructions
Review the exam details, duration, total marks, and any special instructions.

Make Payment (if required)
If the exam requires payment, click Pay to Start and complete the payment process.

Start the Exam
Click Start Exam. The timer will begin immediately.
During the Exam

A countdown timer is displayed at the top. The exam auto-submits when time expires.

Submitting the Exam

Review Your Answers
Check that you've answered all questions.

Click Submit
Click the Submit Exam button.

Confirm Submission
Confirm that you want to submit. You cannot change answers after submission.
Important: Once you start an exam, you must complete it within the time limit. If you navigate away or close the browser, you can continue later if time remains. However, the exam will auto-submit when time expires.

Accessing Your Results

Go to Results
Click My Results in the sidebar or from your dashboard.

Select an Exam
Click on an exam to view your detailed results.

Make Payment (if required)
If result viewing requires payment, complete the payment first.
Understanding Your Results
Your result page shows:
Total Marks Obtained: Your score out of total marks
Percentage: Your score as a percentage
Pass/Fail Status: Whether you passed based on passing marks
Question-by-Question Breakdown: Which answers were correct/incorrect
Time Taken: How long you took to complete the exam
Note: Results for exams with Short Answer or Essay questions may be pending until your teacher completes manual grading.
Student Payments
Some organizations require students to pay for exam access, subject access, or result viewing.
Making a Payment

Initiate Payment
When you try to access a paid resource, you'll be prompted to make payment.

Review Payment Details
Check the amount, currency, and what you're paying for.

Complete Payment
Follow the payment gateway instructions to complete the transaction.

Access Resource
After successful payment, you'll be granted access to the exam, subject, or result.

View all your payments by going to Payment History:

Frequently Asked Questions
Click "Forgot Password" on the login page, enter your email address, and follow the instructions sent to your email.
Your answers are auto-saved as you progress. If you reconnect before the time expires, you can continue from where you left off. However, the timer continues running.
No, once you submit an exam, your answers are final and cannot be changed.
Your result page will show "Passed" or "Failed" based on whether you met the minimum passing marks set by your teacher.
Teachers can see that you've started an exam and when you submit it, but they cannot view your screen or monitor your progress in real-time.
This depends on the exam settings configured by your teacher. Most exams allow only one attempt.
